Description

PROTECT-A 030 GROSS CONCRETE PRIMER is an acrylic dispersion polymer-based primer.

Area of Use

  • Indoors; vertical surfaces and ceilings.
  • To increase the adherence of gypsum, lime and cement-based plaster mortars to the gross concrete surface.
  • It is used as a primer in ceiling plasters.

Application Instructions

  • Make sure the intended application surface is solid and free from any frost, ponded water, oil, grease, paraffin, coatings,cement grout, any loose particles or any other contaminants that could affect the process.
  • Surface should be prepared with appropriate mechanical preparation techniques(with the help of high-pressure washer and/or with the help of other abrasive equipment).
  • All dusts, loose and crumbling materials should be removed from the surface either with the help of a brush or by vacuuming.
  • Primer should be mixed homogenously using a low rpm mixer (400-600 rpm) with a ratio of 4 to 6 liters of water per 12 kg of 030 Gross Concrete Primer.
  • Mixing process can be accomplished using either the product’s own bucket or within a clean suitable container, free from any contaminant that can prevent and/or hinder adhesion.
  • For the duration of the whole application process the mixed product must be periodically stirred.
  • Can be applied with a brush, roller or via spraying.
  • Must be applied on a surface that is between 5 degrees of Celsius and 30 degrees of Celsius.
