PROTECT-A LG 042 2K is a two component, transparent polyurethane based solvent liquid glass.

Glass brick, mosaic, tile mosaic, porcelain surfaces, press bricks, wooden surfaces, balcony, terrace,
bathroom, kitchen, stone-covered exteriors.
Used in glass mosaic-covered, ceramic ornamental pools.

It is a two-component solvent polyurethane-based product used in waterproofing as well as for decorative purposes.
It has high chemical and physical resistance as well as excellent water resistance.
Can be produced in transparent color. It is not affected by U.V. and outdoor weather conditions.
It does not turn yellow or fade over time.
It is easily applied without spoiling and damaging the existing coating, especially in the solution of insulation problems arising on floors such as balconies, terraces, bathrooms and pools.
It helps to prevent dust on absorbent surfaces.
Excellent adhesion on Glass, mosaic, tile, porcelain, ceramic, marble, granite, natural stone, wood, concrete, screed, galvanized sheet, aluminum surfaces.

The relative humidity of the air should be no more than 80%, the ambient temperature should be between 15 – 35°C and the surface temperature of the application surface should be at least 5°C.
It should not be applied at outdoors in rainy weather.
Surface cleaning should be done to increase adhesion.
All oils, dust, dirt, rust and similar substances that may prevent liquid glass from sticking to the surface should be completely removed from the application surface.
If the application surface contains old paint, it must be removed via sandblasting or with the help of pressurized water blasting.
The sanded surface provides better mechanical properties for liquid glass application and helps liquid glass to adhere better to the surface.
Before the application, the two components should be thoroughly mixed. Two components can only react when they become a uniform mixture.
The waiting time between layers should be 24 – 48 hours, at 20°C.
For the best performance 2 to 3 layers should be applied.

Mixing ratio (by weight) is 7 unit Liquid Glass A component to 1 unit Liquid Glass B component.
Application direction is in the same direction as the first coat.
Should be applied to dry surface.
Can be applied using roller (synthetic epoxy), brush or suitable spray.
Primer usage is not required.
Must be applied as a single coat on non-absorbent surfaces.
Wait time between coats should be 24-48 hours.
