Description

PROTECT-A SELF LEVELLING EPOXY 010 is a is an epoxy based, two components, solvent-free, self-leveling
floor coating that is resistant to chemicals. It can be used with added aggregate.

Area of Use

On concrete and cement based mineral surfaces.
On medium and heavy wear industrial areas such as factories, storage halls, loading ramps etc.
On wet areas such as hospitals, laboratories, food industries etc.
On gym, carpark, shopping mall floors as coating material.

Application Instructions

Existing surface must be clean, dry, flat and free of dirt, dust, oil, wax and mold.
All loose, dusty, cracked, crusted and pre-painted surfaces must be cleaned or scraped.
Component A and B should be mixed for at least 3-4 minutes with the help of a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
The mixture should be consumed within 25-30 minutes.
24 hours after the primer application, the application surface must be roughened by sanding.
In order to achieve the desired thickness on the application surface, the product should be spread with the help of a notched trowel and air should be taken with a spiked roller when the coating reaches the appropriate consistency.
The application should not be performed if the ambient temperature is below 10°C or above 30°C.
Avoid application in rainy and windy weather.
After the completion of the coating, the coating should be protected from water contact for at least 24 hours.
Thinning products should not be used with the product during the application.
Relative humidity should not exceed 80% during the application.
