PROTECT-A 035 UNIVERSAL PRIMER is a water-based, one component, transparent universal primer.

Cost efficient.
Can be used safely indoors and enclosed areas since it does not contain any flammable or toxic materials.
Environmentally friendly (water based).
Creates a seamless and uninterrupted insulation layer.
Applied cold hence does not require heating.
Can be used without thinning.

Make sure the intended application surface is solid and free from any frost, ponded water, oil, grease, paraffin, coatings, cement grout, any loose and weak particles or any other contaminants that could affect the process.
Surface should be prepared with appropriate mechanical preparation techniques (with the help of high-pressure washer and/or with the help of other abrasive equipment).
All dust, loose and materials that can easily crumble should be removed from the surface either with the help of a brush or by vacuuming.
Should be mixed thoroughly until it is homogenous before use
Should be diluted with water at a rate of 7 to 1 (based on volume).
It can be applied via brush or roller as a single layer.
The paint or insulation product application should be after a minimum drying time of 4 hours.
High humidity and/or low temperatures will prolong curing time.
Air and surface temperature for application must be +5°C to +35°C and must remain so for a minimum of 24 hours.
The surface should be protected from rain, water, mechanical loads and impacts for 24 hours during and after the application. It should not be applied in very windy and direct sunlight.
