Description

PROTECT-A 060 U.V ULTRA ELASTIC is a highly elastic (%1000), single component, solvent free waterproofing material based on a unique combination of rubber and bitumen.

Application Instructions

Make sure the intended application surface is solid and free from any frost, ponded water, oil, grease, paraffin, coatings, cement grout, any loose and weak particles or any other contaminants that could affect the process.
Surface should be prepared with appropriate mechanical preparation techniques (with the help of high-pressure washer and/or with the help of other abrasive equipment).
All dust, loose and materials that can easily crumble should be removed from the surface either with the help of a brush or by vacuuming.
Stir material thoroughly prior to application. Apply the Protect U.V. Ultra Elastic with roller, brush, squeegee, broom, trowel or suitable spraying device. Allow every coat to dry completely before applying the next one.
If it is necessary to prime the substrate, dilute Protect U.V. Ultra Elastic with water and apply it with a brush in one rich layer. Allow priming layer to cure thoroughly. Then apply the subsequent topcoats.
High humidity and/or low temperatures will prolong curing time.
Air and surface temperature for application must be +5°C to +30°C and must remain so for a minimum of 24 hours.
Do not apply on wet or frozen surfaces. Do not apply on dusting or weak surfaces. If in doubt, perform adhesion test.
