Description
PROTECT-A 033 BITUMEN PRIMER is a bitumen emulsion based, one component, waterproofing material for brush and roller applications.
Area of Use
All horizontal and vertical surfaces, foundations, cellars, basements, and in wet areas such as bathrooms, kitchens and toilets in prevention of water seepage.
Used together with reinforcement.
Used as a primer before the application of ECOTEK and ULTRA BE-K 2K products or before any other brand bitumen membranes.
Used as a primer on screed in parqueting applications with hot bitumen.

Application Instructions
The application surface must be cleaned of dust, oil, paint, curing material, and anti-adhesive substances such as detergent.
Paint, primers, etc. layers must be removed from the surface.
All dust, loose and materials that can easily crumble should be removed from the surface either with the help of a brush or by vacuuming.
The spikes and corners should be rounded. Corner turnsshould be properly chamfered. Dilatation joints and cold joints on the application surface must be closed using suitable elastic dilatation tape.
Slope of the screed on the application surface must be sufficient.
Must be applied on a surface that has a surface temperature between 5 degrees of Celsius and 30 degrees of Celsius.
For exterior applications, the surface should be protected from sun, wind, frost and rain for the first 24 hours.
