Description

PROTECT-A TH 100 MORTAR is a cement-based repair material that is modified with polymer and fiber additives.

Area of Use

  • In surface repairs before waterproofing.
  • In concrete, plaster and screed repairs.
  • In filling the segregation and rod holes.
  • Used in chamfering and repairs.
  • To close the gaps in the curtains and columns.

Product Features and Advantages

  • It is an adherence enhancing and highly resistant repair mortar that can be used in all repair applications.
  • It is resistant to mechanical and chemical effects.
  • It provides waterproofing thanks to the additives it contains.

Application Instructions

  • The application surfaces should be cleaned and moistened beforehand.
  • If there are factors present that can reduce adherence such as loose particles, oil, dirt, mud on the surface these factors must be removed from the surface.
  • A Pit with a depth of at least 2cm should be opened for cracks or segregations that are going to be repaired.
  • PROTECT-A TH 100 elastic mortar should be mixed with clean water at a ratio of 1/5, using a low rpm mixer until a homogenous mixture is achieved.
  • If the mixing process is to be achieved manually then it should be conducted with smaller ratios of both the product and water.
  • Attention should be paid to applications conducted at temperatures between 5 °C – 40 °C and during applications at extremely hot temperatures the application surface should be moistened periodically.
